  • Full-time Overview The Mid-Level RDA operates more independently in clinical procedures and patient interaction.
Duties include assisting in restorative procedures, taking impressions, scanning for crowns and bridges, presenting basic treatment plans, and ensuring proper documentation and charting. This role requires strong clinical competency, the ability to anticipate provider needs, and effective communication with both patients and team members. Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments with precision and confidence. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary dental materials, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with aseptic technique standards. Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Dentrix. Monitor vital signs and medical documentation for patients with complex health needs, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols. Support front desk operations by performing dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining patient records. Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, post-treatment care, and the importance of infection control practices to foster understanding and comfort. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant II with current licensure in good standing and BLS. Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry or specialized fields like pediatric dentistry or prosthodontics. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging including X-ray procedures. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient rapport. Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow during procedures. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
