Job Description

Experienced RDA•Established Family & Cosmetic Practice in Nederland, 4-Day Week Coastal Dental Care, an established family and cosmetic dental practice in Nederland, TX, is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team on a four-day schedule (Mon-Thurs, 8-5). This is a temp-to-hire role covering a team member's leave, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position.
About the office:
We're a busy, multi-doctor practice known for patient-focused, comprehensive care; from preventive and family dentistry to cosmetic and restorative work supported by modern technology including CEREC same-day crowns, intraoral scanning, and laser dentistry. Our team is friendly, professional, and proud of the long-term patient relationships we've built. What you'll do: Provide skilled chairside assisting across general, restorative, and cosmetic procedures, including CEREC restorations, implant surgical placement, and anterior/posterior temporary crown and veneer fabrication. You'll also handle digital scanning, alginate impressions, retraction cord placement, sterilization and instrument processing, charting and patient notes, and recall scheduling. What we're looking for: Active Texas RDA registration in good standing An experienced chairside assistant comfortable working independently across a full scope of procedures Hands-on experience with CEREC / scanning systems and expanded functions (temp fabrication, retraction cord) Strong work ethic, team player, professional and positive attitude Bilingual is a plus
Compensation:
$19•20/hr, depending on experience.
