Are you ready to step into a true leadership role in a private, fee-for-service dental practice rather than a corporate or insurance-driven environment? We are looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant who is clinically strong, organized, dependable, and confident leading a highly skilled assisting team. This is an opportunity to work alongside dentists and a talented team providing general dentistry, advanced implant, and All-on-X care in a modern, technology-forward practice. What You'll Do As Lead Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for both clinical excellence and team leadership , including: Lead and coordinate the dental assisting team Assist doctors with general, implant, and full-arch procedures Maintain high standards for clinical care, sterilization, and infection control Train, coach, and mentor dental assistants Help onboard new team members Maintain efficient clinical workflows and systems Prepare operatories, instruments, surgical setups, and materials Ensure clinical protocols and standards are followed consistently Identify workflow problems and take ownership of solutions Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office Address issues directly and professionally Help maintain a smooth schedule and patient experience Provide leadership and accountability while maintaining a positive team environment Clinical Experience We are looking for a highly capable dental assistant with multi-year experience in general dentistry and advanced implant procedures . Experience with the following is strongly preferred: General restorative dentistry Crowns and bridges (Cerec preferred) Endodontics Extractions Implant placement and restoration support Advanced implant surgery Bone grafting Full-arch / All-on-X procedures Surgical setup and instrumentation Sterilization and infection control Digital dentistry and technology Phlebotomy What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Experienced and clinically confident Dependable and accountable Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable taking initiative A strong problem solver Calm and effective in a fast-paced environment Able to give and receive constructive feedback Comfortable holding teammates accountable to established standards Respectful and collaborative without avoiding difficult conversations Able to lead experienced assistants without micromanaging Committed to excellent patient care Interested in continuous learning and professional growth Multi-year experience Current License We are looking for someone who earns respect through competence, consistency, fairness, communication, and follow-through.
