Job Description

Job Summary:
Temple Dental Spa is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our patient-focused team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional dental experience for our patients. This role is crucial in supporting our dentists during procedures, maintaining patient comfort, and ensuring clinical efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions) Take and process dental X-rays (digital radiography) Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas following OSHA protocols Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes Provide patients with post-operative instructions and education Manage dental inventory and assist with ordering supplies Perform laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming casts (if applicable) Support front desk staff with scheduling, confirmations, or administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license Current CPR/BLS certification Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification (preferred) Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (preferred but not required) Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software (preferred) Excellent communication and patient service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Work Schedule:
Full-time Monday-Friday (specific hours to be determined) Occasional extended hours depending on patient needs
Compensation & Benefits:
