Dental Assistant

```Duties```

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take dental x-rays
• Perform dental charting and documentation using Dentrix software
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Take and record patients' vital signs
• Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming trays
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed ```Qualifications```
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Current certification in CPR
• Proficiency in using Dentrix
• Experience with medical imaging, including digital radiography and intraoral cameras
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry techniques and procedures
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus
• Ability to take accurate patient vital signs and record medical records
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
