We are looking for an individual who is 100% punctual with a great work ethic and trustworthiness. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures and ensuring the comfort of our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and excellent patient care, we would love to hear from you. Office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday
  • Fridays 8:00am-4:00pm.
Minimum of 2 year previous experience is required, as well as basic computer skills and Dentrix knowledge.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits.
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments, materials, taking x-rays and scanning.
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking medical histories and recording any allergies or pre-existing conditions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Experience:
  • Candidate must have dental assistant and X-ray certificate.
  • 1 year minimum previous experience as a dental assistant is required.
  • Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
