- Fridays 8:00am-4:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments, materials, taking x-rays and scanning.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Perform patient assessments, including taking medical histories and recording any allergies or pre-existing conditions.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Experience:
- Candidate must have dental assistant and X-ray certificate.
- 1 year minimum previous experience as a dental assistant is required.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
