Job Description
About us Crowe & Co. Orthodontics is an orthodontic practice in Bluefield, VA. We are a professional, patient-centric office with a goal to provide quality orthodontic care and an excellent patient experience.
Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Relaxed atmosphere On-the-job training Friendly co-workers Patient interactionDuties:
- Assist orthodontists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment units and sterilize instruments
- Take dental x-rays
- Assist with orthodontic procedures, including placing brackets and wires
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care instructions
- Perform dental impressions and create molds for orthodontic appliances
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and patient records
- Utilize electronic health record system for patient management
- Assist with managing patient flow
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and techniques preferred
- Proficient in dental terminology and documentation preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Compassionate and caring demeanor when working with patients, particularly pediatric patients
