Job Description
Our modern fast paced sedation dental office is seeking a full time Dental Assistant to join our unique practice. We are looking to add a professional, compassionate, fast learner to our team. Someone that is kind, has a great sense of pride, works well as a team, yet just as strong independently. Our new team member is punctual, clean appearance, reliable, and able to understand the need for attention to detail, is flexible and driven and able to take direction and learn new skills with an accelerated and accurate expectation. Requirements
- BLS Certified
- X-ray Certification
- Certificate of Completion from dental assistant program (preferred) Responsibilities include...
- Prepare and break down rooms adhering to all infection control policies.
- Prepare patients for treatment scheduled.
- Expose diagnostically sound radiographs.
- Assist the dentist with treatment planning and all procedures scheduled, anticipating provider's needs (must).
- Triage patients.
- Perform prophylaxis cleanings.
- Maintain office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized treatment area.
- Be able to compassionately comfort children, special needs patients, and adults with dental anxieties. Additional duties may include

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills The position is full time; up to 5 days a week (36+).
