Job Summary At Henritze Dental Group (HDG), our Dental Assistants are reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented team players. Dental Assistants support our dentists in delivering high-quality oral health care, ensuring patient comfort, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining an organized and sterile environment. This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, as well as patient comfort and understanding. Prepare and maintain the treatment areas for all clinical staff, including sterilizing instruments and ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques. Take dental radiographs as needed while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including patient check-in, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices. Collaborate with the entire dental team to ensure efficient operations within the clinic. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years direct dental assisting experience is highly desirable. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting and familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is required . CPR, BLS, and X-Ray certified. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike. Ability to follow directions and take feedback.
