Job Description

We are an established, patient-focused practice seeking a skilled Dental Front Desk Receptionist with hands-on Dentrix proficiency. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in managing our daily clinic operations, optimizing our schedule, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, a strong multitasker.
Key Responsibilities Patient Management :
Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out processes, and update digital health records seamlessly within Dentrix .
Scheduling Optimization :
Coordinate appointments, manage productive day scheduling, and run patient recall or continuing care lists.
Insurance Coordination :
Verify detailed insurance eligibility, submit electronic claims, process prior authorizations, and enter breakdown of benefits.
Financial Flow :
Present treatment plans clearly, explain financial options to patients, and collect accurate co-pays or balances at the time of service.
Communication :
Manage multi-line phone systems and electronic communication platforms (e.g., Weave, Lighthouse 360).
Compliance :
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies.
Job Requirements Experience :
Minimum [1-2+ years] of dental front desk or dental administration experience (Required).
Software :
Proven, hands-on experience using Dentrix software.
Industry Knowledge :
Strong familiarity with dental terminology, CDT codes, and dental insurance verification.
Skills :
Excellent verbal communication, strong typing/computer literacy, and a high level of organization.
Optional Preference :
Bilingual skills

From $18.00 per hour
