- Opportunity to become part of a secure company with 20+ years of experience that provides a stable career with unlimited growth Your Role You'll become an essential part of the patient experience by helping create a comfortable, welcoming, and highly professional environment where the latest in dentistry is practiced.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel relaxed throughout treatment
- Reviewing health histories and preparing patients for procedures
- Taking digital radiographs, iTero scans, clinical photography, and other diagnostics
- Assisting chairside during a wide variety of procedures using four-handed dentistry
- Preparing treatment rooms while maintaining OSHA and CDC standards of infection control
- Managing supplies and inventory
- Utilizing Dentrix software for patient scheduling and record management
- Partnering closely with Dr. Samaha and the clinical team to continually improve patient care and office efficiency Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of dental assisting experience
- Virginia X-ray Certification
- Strong working experience of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
- HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Preferred Experience
- 5+ years in a dental setting
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
- Dental Assisting certification
- Interest and awareness of total health
