Whether you are new to the dental field or maybe someone who's returning to the workforce, we hope you will interview and see if we are the right fit for you. Our office is open Monday through Thursday which allows our employees time off to spend with family. Our dental assistants help with all treatments from exams and cleanings to surgical extractions, endodontics, restorations, and taking dental radiographs. Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including the surgical removal of teeth, endodontics, and general dentistry tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, dental instruments, and equipment, ensuring adherence to all infection control guidelines.
  • Manage patient records within our systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide support in four-handed dentistry, enhancing efficiency during procedures.
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
  • Assist in cleanings for adults and children.
  • Taking dental radiographs. Requirements
  • Dental radiation and safety certification.
  • Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with various dental procedures is preferred.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Dentrix software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail as a priority.
  • Knowledge of vital signs monitoring is beneficial.
  • Experience in four-handed dentistry techniques is desirable.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
