Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding to facilitate effective communication within the team. Skills Proven experience in dental assisting within a busy dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization protocols. Excellent knowledge of EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, with the ability to document accurately and efficiently. Ability to perform chairside assisting confidently during various procedures including prosthodontics and endodontics. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Experience with pediatric dentistry procedures and supporting pediatric patients through gentle care techniques.
