- Orthodontic Assistant
Overview:
- We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a desire to contribute to a vibrant and supportive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
- Take dental x-rays and impressions
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment
- Provide support to patients before, during, and after procedures
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
Experience:
- Certificate in dental assisting
- Prior experience in orthodontics or general dentistry preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
