The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, managing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about dental health and eager to grow within a professional environment that values patient care, infection control, and technical expertise. Prior experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is preferred, along with knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental terminology. We perform a full spectrum of dentistry including root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, periodontal surgeries, braces, clear aligners and so on. So experience in endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery is highly desirable, but not required. We are willing to train you. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures including restorations, extractions, and root canals using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies in accordance with aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety and proper technique. Record vital signs and medical history accurately in electronic medical records - Eaglesoft. Manage patient flow by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records. Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative care, and oral hygiene practices. Assist with the use of advanced technology including 3D scanners, CBCT, and other medical imaging equipment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times. Support administrative tasks such as verifying insurance information, processing payments, and managing medical coding for billing purposes. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic role; familiarity with dental assisting procedures is essential. Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety standards. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
