Experience:
Minimum 3 years chair side dental assisting experience is required. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management protocols. Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures including Cerec digital crowns ensuring patient comfort and safety. Digital radiography and 3D scans Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform vital signs assessment and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on post-treatment care and treatment plans while maintaining excellent patient management software records. Follow strict dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards across all clinical activities. Qualifications Valid current registration as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or certification recognized by state or provincial dental boards. Proven chair side experience in dental assisting with advanced restorative dentistry. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures including chairside assisting techniques with four-handed dentistry. Skilled in dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention management to ensure a safe clinical environment. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and patience. Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention policies aligned with HIPAA standards and clinical confidentiality policies.
