Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. In this vital role, you will assist with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for our patients. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management standards. Assist during various procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other clinical treatments by providing chairside support with dental instruments, and dental radiographs Manage patient records accurately using Eaglesoft patient management software, ensuring all medical documentation and records are complete, confidential, and compliant with clinical confidentiality policies. Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary and assist in patient care activities to ensure comfort and safety throughout their visit. Support the dental team with infection control practices including aseptic technique, dental instrument processing, and maintaining a sterile environment aligned with healthcare infection prevention standards. Requirements Dental Assisting Experience. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for managing patient records efficiently. Strong understanding of dental equipment operation, dental sterilization procedures, and infection prevention management. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety protocols for patients and staff. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry, oral surgery techniques, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate seamlessly with the dental team. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 36.0 per week
