Job Description
Job Overview Hi, we are looking for a fun, motivated, dependable person to join our close-knit office as a cross-trained dental assistant. You must have an active RDA license and current BLS certificate. Duties include, but not limited to: Sterilizing instruments Setting up patient trays with correct instruments Breaking down and setting up dental operatories Care and maintenance of equipment including quarterly water testing and weekly cleaning Assisting hygienists with perio charting and scribing for the doctor as needed Stocking operatories and managing supplies including putting together order list Answering phones, scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, reviewing treatment plans and costs with patients, collecting payments from patients in person or over the phone, verifying insurance and helping out with billing insurance claims. Familiarity with dental insurance and procedure codes is preferred. Our schedule is 7am-4pm on Tuesday, 8am-5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, 9am-6pm on Thursdays. This is a full time job, expect to get near 40 hours a week
