Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about dental care and patient well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Perform prosthodontics procedures as directed by the dentist
- Conduct medical imaging such as x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Utilize 3D scanners for accurate dental impressions
- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
- Knowledge of infection control protocols in a dental setting
