Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists during patient procedures, ensure smooth clinic operations, and provide outstanding patient care. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to infection control standards. Assist dentists during endodontic procedures and surgeries while providing chairside support with precision and care. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology like 3D scanners while maintaining proper aseptic technique. Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Perform vital signs assessments and document medical history to support comprehensive patient care. Operate electronic health record (EHR) system TDO to schedule appointments, update treatment plans, and maintain accurate medical coding. Support administrative tasks including greeting patients as a dental receptionist, managing appointment flow, and assisting with billing or insurance processing as needed. Skills Proficiency with EMR system TDO for efficient record keeping and documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques to ensure safe practice standards. Experience with chairside assisting in Endodontic procedures and surgeries. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners confidently. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and dental coding. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and provide compassionate patient care.
