The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and eager to support both the dental team and our patients. We are looking for a part time position to transition into a full time position. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols. Manage patient records using dental software systems, including Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Monitor and record vital signs of patients before procedures. Provide chairside assistance in various dental specialties, including General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Pediatrics. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed during procedures. Restore fillings and adjust dentures. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of dental terminology. Experience with medical imaging technologies, including X-ray capabilities. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Ability to perform vital signs assessments accurately. Strong understanding of various dental specialties such as General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Pediatrics. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
