40 hours per week Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers is expanding to the Reedsburg area and we are looking to bring on two new Dental Assistants to work at our new location. Summary The individual is responsible for providing friendly, professional, quality assistance to patients in delivery of dental care while assisting dental providers in providing primary dental services. Duties & Responsibilities Perform basic dental assisting functions such as: Room set ups and tear downs Chairside assisting Lab work Sterilization/maintenance Maintain critical infection control practices Obtaining diagnostic radiographs Accurate documentation including billing code and clinical notes, Maintain knowledge of Forward health billing guidelines Efficient communication with patients and staff Demonstrate a calming presence to patients and staff Evaluate whole patient for integrative care Assisting hygiene during cleanings Understand order process, promote mission, vision, and values Other duties as assigned Qualifications The individual must respect the confidentiality of patient information while performing job duties and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and public. Education and/or Experience Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program is preferred but not required, six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
