Monica Patrick Orthodontics is growing and in order to thrive we need to fill a pair of very important shoes! We are searching for an orthodontic assistant, that is looking to make a long-term commitment to our team. Experience is a plus but not required as we will train the right candidate . The ideal employee is hard-working, organized, has a positive attitude, is outgoing and loved working with kids and adults. •Qualifications Orthodontic or Dental Assisting experience preferred but not required Consistent availability A true team player Quick to learn new things Positive and upbeat attitude!!! Flexible and adaptable Excellent time management Why you'll love being part of our team: A fantastic, supportive doctor and team A beautiful, brand-new office Amazing patients Part of creating a memorable experience for a patient during their orthodontic journey Responsibilities Greeting patients and families in a friendly, professional manner Preparing chairs for appointments Cleaning chairs follow office protocols Charting notes for patient visits Chairside assisting doctor Preparing brackets, appliances, aligners for patients ahead of time Placing orthodontic wires and O-ties on braces Patient oral hygiene education Taking radiographs and digital photos Intraoral scanning Interacting with patients and making sure they feel comfortable Giving patient instruction about their orthodontic care Sterilization - daily tasks, as well as weekly and monthly maintenance duties Infection Control Instrument tracking Supply inventory/ ordering Daily cleaning of office Monthly deep cleaning of office Social media content creation (along with other team members) Help answering phone if needed. Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming office environment Other tasks as assigned
Required/Preferred Experience:
Orthodontic/ Dental experience: 1 year preferred but no required Customer service: 1 year preferred
Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
Hours:
25-32 hours per week ( 3-4 days per week) At Monica Patrick Orthodontics our patients mean everything to us.
