Dental Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Dental assisting practices and procedures. Familiarity with endodontics and other specialized dental procedures is a plus. Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. Understanding of infection control standards within a dental setting.
