Job Description
Dental / Orthodontic Assistant - Seeking a talented, outgoing and self-motivated individual to add to our dynamic team. We offer an opportunity to grow as a professional in a practice with a reputation for excellence and personal care. We are looking for an individual who desires a career, NOT a job! Our chair side assistant will perform a variety tasks and duties including, but not limited to: Assisting with front office duties Communication with patients regarding treatment and oral hygiene Charting of patient information Taking digital radiographs Taking alginate impressions Performing orthodontic adjustments Preparing teeth for bonding and debonding Proficient in the placement and removal of appliances Sterilizing instruments and operatories Encouraging, educating, and motivating patients to follow the recommendations of the Doctor Inventory control Managing a fast-paced patient schedule Qualifications Prior experience as in the dental or orthodontic field is desired but not required Skills Adapt to a variety of situations Good computer skills Great analytical skills Great attention to detail Shows initiative Solves problems effectively Well organized Works well as a team Compensation and benefits Based on experience
