Job Description
Wyoming Cosmetic and Family Dental in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support our dentists in delivering high-quality cosmetic and family care. Responsibilities include chairside assisting, preparing and sterilizing instruments, taking digital X-rays and impressions, maintaining treatment rooms, and updating patient records. You'll help educate patients on oral hygiene, ensure comfort, and support smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance to dentists during exams and procedures Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and treatment rooms Take and process digital X-rays and impressions per provider instructions Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in practice systems Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices Support scheduling, patient flow, and smooth daily operations Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed Assist with inventory, stocking, and maintenance of dental supplies Required Skills Chairside assisting Dental radiography/digital X-rays Dental instrument sterilization Infection control protocols Dental charting and recordkeeping Taking dental impressions Use of dental practice management software Patient education and communication Four-handed dentistry techniques Basic dental terminology and procedures
