Registered Dental Hygienist (Tuesdays and Fridays only!)

Complete Dental is a local Madison-based dental practice owned and operated by a dedicated team of dental professionals. Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on every Tuesdays (12:45-7pm) and Fridays (6:45-3p). This vital role involves delivering exceptional patient care, supporting dental procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and documentation. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and patient education on oral hygiene practices Assist with chairside procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques Take and evaluate vital signs and medical imaging as needed for patient assessments Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients about dental terminology, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies Maintain infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures Document all patient interactions thoroughly in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Open Dental software Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general or pediatric dentistry setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and medical coding practices Familiarity with EMR systems like Open Dental software is highly preferred Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical records Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required Ability to work independently on scheduled days while collaborating seamlessly with the dental team Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier dental hygiene services in a supportive environment!
