Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures; including prophy, debridement, srp, and polishing teeth.
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software systems such as Dentrix
• Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures

Skills:

• Experience with Dentrix dental software systems for medical documentation and patient record management
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
