Full Job Description Job description: Job SummaryWe are urgently seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our fee for service dental practice. We focus our core values on comprehensive care for patients and 5 star service. Our team is small and like a family so we are looking for a team player. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices using Itero scanner. We are looking for a team player and someone that fits within our core values and philosophy in care. You will play a crucial role in promoting overall dental health and connecting with patients. We are looking for M/T/W/Th 8-5 "full time" Pay dependent on experience and skills $65-$75/hr benefits include: paid time off, 401k with match, dental care for you and immediate family, uniform lab coat, bonuses, CE Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth scanning with Itero Taking X-rays Assess patients' oral health by reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the diagnosis of periodontal diseases and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized patient care plans. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols within the dental office environment. Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and documentation review. Skills Scanning with itero, dentrix/ dexis / pearl AI knowledge Strong knowledge of infection control practices within a dental office setting. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection. Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding basic anatomy related to dental health. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providing clear instructions and education on oral care. Compassionate approach towards patient care, especially in pediatric dentistry settings. Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and patient records.
