Job Description

Axelrode Orthodontics is looking for an energetic and upbeat Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator who radiates positivity and excels in delivering excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate will be extremely pleasant with a great attitude and a team player. Must be able to work under pressure in a busy office and have excellent time management and organizational skills. Schedule & Locations This is a full-time position Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Friday, 9 AM - 1:30 PM Benefits Competitive salary based on experience. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid Time Off and Holidays Retirement Savings Plan Employees discounts on orthodontic treatment Key Responsibilities Conduct initial consultations and assessment for orthodontic treatment Educate patients on various orthodontic treatment options and discuss treatment Provide financial estimates and discuss payment options with the patients and their families. Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries. Communicate effectively with the doctors, dental team, and administrative staff. Handle patient inquiries, concerns and follow-up on treatment progress. Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and privacy. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental assisting from an accredited program is preferred. Valid coronal polishing certification is required. Previous experience in a pediatric dental setting is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and office practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on creating a comforting environment for children. Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism. Proficient in using dental software and technology. Valid RDA license and certification in CPR and other relevant dental certifications as required by law.
