Tuesday from 8:00 to 4:00 pm & Friday and alternative Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist Trainee to join our dynamic dental team. This entry-level position offers a comprehensive training opportunity for individuals passionate about oral health and patient care. As a Dental Hygienist Trainee, you will assist licensed dental hygienists and dentists in providing exceptional dental services, gaining hands-on experience in patient assessment, dental procedures, and infection control protocols. Duties Assist licensed dental hygienists and dentists during patient examinations and procedures, including dental cleanings, x-rays, and patient education Learn to perform patient assessments such as vital signs measurement and medical history review Support infection prevention management by adhering to aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols Prepare treatment rooms with necessary dental equipment and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Use Dentrix Platform to manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately, documenting patient information and treatment details Support medical imaging procedures, including taking dental x-rays while maintaining radiation safety standards

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
