Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will not only bring their expertise in dental hygiene but also their enthusiasm for creating a positive patient experience. At Magnolia Dental, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our practice's success and help us deliver exceptional dental care to our community.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental hygiene assessments, including reviewing medical history, oral cancer screenings, and dental charting. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain patients' oral health. Administer local anesthetics and dental hygiene procedures, such as fluoride treatments and sealant application. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including personalized recommendations. Take dental x-rays and assist in the development of treatment plans. Accurately document patient care and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records. (familiarity with Dentrix is a plus). Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment. Stay current with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies. Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the practice's growth. Build strong rapport and trust with patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable dental experience.
Qualifications:
Current Colorado state licensure as a Dental Hygienist. Successful completion of an accredited dental hygiene program. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Willingness to adapt and contribute to a growing practice. Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
