Role:

We are looking for a personable, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team two days per week, 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, including oral assessments, cleaning, and educating patients on maintaining good oral health.

Holiday Pay Key Responsibilities:

Conducting oral health assessments including periodontal probing and other evaluations Removing plaque and calculus through scaling and root planing Applying preventive materials, such as sealants and fluorides Performing dental prophylaxis on patients Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques Assisting with the management of dental and medical emergencies Maintaining current and accurate patient records and documentation, including health history Becoming proficient with and utilizing our practice management software (CareStack) Taking blood pressure Assisting other staff in completing responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

Current RDH license Current BLS & X-ray Certifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Ability to work effectively in a close team environment We are looking forward to welcoming the right person to our Down to Earth Dental family!
