WHAT YOU'LL DO
Clinical Duties Perform dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning Conduct periodontal assessments and charting Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with regulations Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants Identify signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the dentist Patient Education Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Discuss treatment plans and reinforce the dentist's recommendations Provide post-treatment care instructions Clinical Support & Compliance Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Sterilize and maintain instruments and operatory cleanliness Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required Valid Dental Hygienist license in Colorado Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to administer local anesthesia Preferred Previous experience in a dental or clinical setting Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus Experience with periodontal therapy and patient education programs
