Your proficiency with dental software systems such as Curve along with your knowledge of pediatric dentistry and general dentistry procedures, will help elevate our practice's standards of care. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current health status to tailor personalized care plans. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate medical records by documenting treatment details, dental terminology, and patient interactions in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Curve. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information and prevent cross-contamination. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in dental office settings with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Curve for documentation review and medical coding. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Experience working with EMR systems and managing medical records accurately.
