Overview Tarpon Shores Dental , part of Shore Dental Partners , is committed to providing exceptional dental care to the Englewood community in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. As an integral part of our practice, you will provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care while educating patients on achieving and maintaining optimal oral health. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other preventive hygiene procedures. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting findings accurately in the electronic health record. Obtain high-quality digital dental radiographs while following all radiation safety guidelines. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, home care, nutrition, and preventive treatment recommendations. Collaborate with dentists and team members to develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Follow OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines, including proper sterilization and operatory disinfection procedures. Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient by providing compassionate, personalized care. Qualifications Current Florida Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing. Current CPR certification. Current Florida Dental Radiographer (X-ray) Certification or eligibility to perform dental radiography in accordance with Florida regulations. Previous experience in a general dentistry practice preferred. Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
