Job Description
Overview Base salary start at $44 up to $50 per hour without bonus. We have a strong bonus structure, paid time off, and other benefits. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software. Assist in infection control procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dentists in providing comprehensive patient care, including four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain equipment and instruments in accordance with aseptic techniques. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures. Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care. Experience with infection control protocols within a dental clinic setting. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Background in assisting during dental procedures is preferred. Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous. Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique during patient care.
