WEDNESDAYS
Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current oral health status. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate medical records and document treatment details in electronic health record (EHR) systems (Sensei Cloud) Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times. Support infection control procedures through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments. Review documentation for accuracy, ensuring all medical coding aligns with billing requirements. Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and provide compassionate care in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry settings. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems such as Sensei Cloud and Carestream Imaging. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Ability to accurately measure vital signs and interpret medical imaging results. Familiarity with documentation review, dental coding, and medical records management. Excellent patient care skills with a warm, approachable demeanor that fosters trust and comfort. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and legal compliance in all patient interactions.
