Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a- Dental Hygienist
- to join our:
Primary Care Clinic:
Mercy Care Decatur Street- Under the guidance of a licensed provider, you will help preserve dental health, prevent disease, and improve the well-being of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct oral examinations and perform dental prophylaxis
- Provide patient education on dental hygiene, especially for those with chronic illnesses
- Assist in community outreach, including health fairs and events (3-4 times per year)
- Care for patients of various age groups, including adults, geriatrics, and occasionally infants, children, and adolescents
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Active licensure by the Georgia Board of Dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- At least two years of experience in dental hygiene
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and terminology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
