Job Description

Ocean Dental is a Private Practice in Kailua-Kona Hawaii looking to add another hygienist to our team. Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral health, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver a comfortable, high-quality dental experience. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive services. Take and interpret dental radiographs. Conduct periodontal assessments and document clinical findings. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations. Assist the dentist in diagnosing and developing treatment plans. Maintain accurate clinical records using electronic dental software. Follow OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines for infection control and patient privacy. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while helping patients feel comfortable and informed. Qualifications Current Hawaii Registered Dental Hygienist license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
