  • Pay range DOE and work load.
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
  • Assist the dentist during exams and maintain a sterile working environment
  • Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic dental systems such as
Dentrix Ascend Qualifications:
  • Valid dental hygiene license in [Idaho]
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Proficiency in using electronic dental systems such as Dentrix Ascend
  • Knowledge of and insurance billing procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
Note:
Experience with specific electronic dental systems (Dentrix Ascend) is preferred but not required. Training will be provided if needed.
