Adjunct, Dental Hygiene - Clinical

Scope of Position Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct, Dental Hygiene - Clinical to work on the Godfrey, IL campus. Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs) Create, administer, and grade assignments of LC students; Calculate and submit grades for students; Collaborate with Professors on coursework; Stay current on material in the needed field of study; Provide support and guidance for students as needed. Demonstrate appropriate continuing education and training, including educational methodology as it relates to dental hygiene. Demonstrate clinical skills, consistent with program criteria, to support students in their professional education. Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions Must have Associate's Degree or higher. Excellent verbal and oral communication skills; Strong organizational and time management skills. Currently licensed dental hygienist in the State of Illinois Current BLS Certification Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of practice experience as a dental hygienist. Bachelor's Degree Current certification as a Dental Assistant. For Academic Year 2025-2026, the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $838 per lecture-equivalent hour.
