Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality care and oral hygiene guidance to patients while ensuring compliance with all dental regulations and protocols.
Duties:
  • Conduct dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
  • Perform oral cancer screenings and take dental x-rays
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
  • Administer local anesthesia under the direction of a dentist
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
  • Assist dentists during procedures as needed
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Dental Hygiene required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current state license to practice dental hygiene
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
  • Experience with medical documentation and electronic health record systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Skills:
  • Proficient in taking vital signs and medical imaging
  • Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar electronic medical record systems
  • Familiarity with assisting dentists in various procedures
Pay:
$38.00
