We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and compassionate Dental Hygienist to help maintain the oral health of our patients through preventive dental care. Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement of teeth Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and take X-rays as necessary. Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to prevent tooth decay Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and the use of mouthguards Assist with the development of individualized oral hygiene care plans Review patients' medical histories and communicate any health concerns to the dentist Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with office protocols and regulations Stay up to date with the latest in dental hygiene practices and techniques Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team to provide excellent patient care Ensure the dental treatment area is clean, safe, and organized

Qualifications:

Valid state-issued dental hygiene license Strong knowledge of dental procedures and preventive care Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proficiency in using dental office software and digital X-rays CPR/BLS certification Why Join SmileVibe Dental?
