We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and preventive treatments. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control measures aligned with healthcare standards and HIPAA compliance Skills Proficiency with dental software platforms like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for record management and documentation review Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding practices Experience in pediatric dentistry, including working with children in a pediatric dentistry setting or general practice with pediatric patients Skilled in dental assisting procedures such as chairside assisting, dental equipment operation, and X-ray management Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, providing clear client communication and patient education Expertise in healthcare infection prevention and control management to ensure a safe clinical environment Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for maintaining patient confidentiality and managing medical records securely Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through comprehensive dental care!
