We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Dental Hygienists to join our team. Availability on Fridays is required , and we are happy to discuss flexible schedules to meet your needs. Job Overview We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic and supportive dental team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional preventive care, educating patients, and upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing, to promote optimal oral health Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and recording vital signs to ensure safe and effective treatment Assist with chairside procedures in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop dental radiographs in accordance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and recommended treatment plans Accurately document patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines and protect patient confidentiality at all times Qualifications & Skills Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and documentation practices Experience working with pediatric patients in a caring and compassionate manner Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on four-handed dentistry Ability to accurately take vital signs and perform dental radiographic procedures Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills, with a strong emphasis on education and comfort Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and documentation review Why Join Passion Dental? $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
