Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take dental x-rays
• Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Ascend
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Valid dental hygiene license in Maryland
• Comfortable using Dentrix Ascend or other computer based dental software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work well in a team environment We are seeking a part time RDH, ideally for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
