Plourde Family Dental is a privately-owned , single-dentist general dental practice located in Bath, ME where we prioritize long-term staff and patient relationships by providing quality care in a compassionate setting. We are looking for a full-time or part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our kind, welcoming, and experienced team. Our office is open 4 days per week with no Fridays , and we offer a consistent schedule, excellent benefits, and a great work-life balance. We are looking for someone who is kind, dependable, team-oriented, and excited to be part of a practice where everyone works together to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide comprehensive preventive care while helping patients understand and maintain their oral health.
Responsibilities include:
Update patient medical and dental histories Provide oral hygiene instruction, patient education, and caries risk assessment Engage in all aspects of preventative care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, application of fluoride varnish, and placement of dental sealants Take radiographs as deemed necessary by the dentist Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories Use practice management software to maintain documentation and charting for each patient
Requirements & Skills:
Active Maine license to practice dental hygiene Radiograph certification Current Basic Life Support certification Team-player mentality and enthusiasm to come to work
