In this energetic and rewarding position, you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough cleanings, and educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills within a collaborative and supportive practice. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to ensure optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Prepare hygiene operatories including, but not limited to set up, decontamination, sterilizing and sharpening all instruments, cleaning handpieces and room, restocking supplies. Take imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and radiation safety standards. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in Dentrix Ascend. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
