Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to add to our growing dental team! Private practice with one doctor

  • Thurs, 8 a.
m. to 5 p.m. We offer 60 minute hygiene appointments for our patients and have one hour lunches, 1pm to 2pm. We are looking for an individual who will contribute to a positive and supportive work environment. Pay based on experience. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal scaling/root planing Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Take digital x-rays and intraoral images Periodontal charting Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and notations in the computer & in the chart on each patient Monitor supplies Skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Valid license to practice Experience with Dentrix software In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (HIPAA & OSHA)

From $45.00 per hour
